So far, I've been on a long break, three months to be exact, after a busy but great year.
We were approached with a good offer to part with the B&B business and after some thought, agreed to the sale of the nearly-year-old project. In fact it seemed longer. It has been crazy.
I've enjoyed each passing day so much but felt so guilty when Amy said I'm a much happier person now I'm no longer attached to the business. Admittedly, it took a lot out of me. It was a hands on business, seven days a week and started as early as 7am. Sometimes our guests do request for an earlier breakfast due to an early check out i.e. 5am. I can imagine at times not being the best person....
The experience was priceless, shall write more in the next few posts.
